Some time ago, Emaar Properties, a company that has built many great buildings in Dubai (including the Burj Dubai), has just announced plans to build the world's largest fountain. This fountain can shoot water up to an altitude of 150 meters, or about as tall as 50 stories, and spans 275 meters, or roughly the combined larger than 2 football fields.
A total of 22 000 gallons of water will be thrown into the air in every semburannya. A spray of water will be combined with a powerful sound game and also combined with the play of light from the lamp 6600 and 50 colored projectors.
The DUbai roject is expected to cost about U.S. $ 218 million, and will complete the construction in 2009. When completed, this fountain is expected to be one center of attraction for tourists in Dubai.
